Welcome to BookBits.co, operated by Guri Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations.
1. General Information

Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
2. BookBits’ Services and Rights
BookBits.co provides audio summaries of nonfiction bestselling books, allowing you to grasp their essence within a few minutes. Additionally, BookBits may provide a personal profile for you, which you can fill with your preferred content and text markers, as well as sorting this content into different categories and lists. Subject to availability, you can purchase additional individual content on the platform.
The extent of the content and the options to use (the “License”) depend on the type of account you selected. There is a difference between a free account, a paid subscription, and a free trial. In terms of duration, the license is limited to the validity period of the respective subscription. In the case of a purchase of individual content, its availability in your account will be unlimited.
The rights to BookBits’ service and the content distributed through the service are and will remain with the Company. and/or BookBits’ licensors. Our content is usually protected by copyrights and may not be redistributed by you. The BookBits software applications and content are licensed to you within the scope of the contractual use. We only grant you a non-exclusive, time-limited right to personal use of the BookBits service and its contents. When using our services, you must always observe our Acceptable Use Policy.
All BookBits trademarks, as well as our trade names, logos, domain names, and other distinctive features of the BookBits trademark, are the sole property of the Company. The license does not give you any right to use the BookBits trademarks, trade names, logos, domain names, or any other distinctive features of the BookBits trademark, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
3. User Accounts
Account Creation: To access our services, users must create an account by providing their full name, email address, and phone number. Account creation is mandatory upon purchase.
Login Process: Users log in using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered phone number. For any changes to the registered phone number, users must contact our support team.
Account Security: We employ industry-standard measures to protect the security of user accounts. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit cards and PromptPay.
Subscription Plans: We offer both monthly and yearly subscription plans. All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default and can be canceled at any time through your account settings. Refunds are available only for yearly subscriptions if requested within 7 days of purchase.
5. Usage Rules
Permitted Use: Each account is intended for individual use by the registered user only.
Prohibited Actions: Users are prohibited from sharing their account, using our content for commercial purposes without explicit consent, and scraping or extracting data from our website.
6. Content
User-Generated Content: At this time, users are not permitted to submit content to BookBits.co.
Intellectual Property: All content provided by BookBits.co is protected by intellectual property laws and is intended solely for personal use by the registered user.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Data Collection and Usage: We collect technical data and use Google Analytics to improve our services. When you use the Platform, BookBits processes your personal data. You can find out more in the BookBits Privacy Policy. If your BookBits account is provided to you via your employer, the Company processes your personal data partly on behalf of your employer. This means that your employer may be able to access, edit, delete, or control your account, as well as view insights into your usage behavior. Your employer can provide you with more detailed information on this. We share user data with third parties only when necessary and in accordance with our privacy policy.
8. Termination
Account Termination: Users may request the termination of their account by contacting our support team. BookBits reserves the right to terminate any account at its sole discretion, under any circumstances.
9. Dispute Resolution
Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions or our services, the parties agree to seek resolution through binding arbitration.
Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
10. Modifications
Modifications to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page without prior notice. We encourage users to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
11. Gift Cards and Special Offers
If you hold a BookBits gift card that allows the use of a BookBits Premium subscription for the period mentioned in the accompanying email, card, or paper receipt, you have the right to use the BookBits Platform during the respective period of time.
To redeem the gift card, you must first register with BookBits (see Section 3) and then activate the code indicated on the gift certificate on a dedicated page (currently: bookbits.co/gift).
Gift cards and other codes cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be reimbursed, exchanged, or used to purchase other codes.
Please note that in addition to these Terms & Conditions, additional conditions may apply to gift cards or any other special offers.
Once the respective period expires, the subscription access ends automatically, and you will be downgraded to a free account accordingly. If you wish to continue using the subscription access, you can sign up for a new subscription (see Section 4) at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account, you can do so from the settings in our web app (see Section 8). All data will be deleted irrevocably.
12. Liability
BookBits disclaims any liability for damages arising from your use of the platform. BookBits shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the platform; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the platform; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the platform by any third party; or (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the platform.
